Has your Sony Xperia locked up? Is it frozen? Does it not want to power on or off?
The solution:
Hold Volume Up button and then the Power key and hold these two buttons down simultaneously for about 13-15 seconds until the phone vibrates. After that, turn the phone on like you normally do by pressing the power button.
If this does not work try with volume down instead of volume up and do this several times.
